Monique Taylor is a military brat and the daughter of a WWII Glider Pilot, Lt. Col. Paul W. Mousseau, USAF ret. He entered the service at 17 years old and was in the first graduating class of glider pilots. Monique holds a BA in English Literature, an MA in History and a Juris Doctor. Her Master’s thesis was on the WWII Training of the Combat Glider Pilot which is currently being revised for publication release on October 30, 2023. She taught history at the college level on or around various military installations for 20 years specializing in American History, Western and World Civilizations. While completing her JD Monique also published a Law Review piece on Regulatory Takings of Private Property and the Endangered Species Act. She served on the Law Review Editorial Board as well. Her husband Lt. Col Robert Taylor USAF reserves for 22 years, and her son is currently serving in the Marines as an Osprey pilot.
