Preparing for the Market Garden mission, Holland Z4 is the squadron code for the 301st TCS 441st TCG. The photo is takken at Langar field, England. Waiting for take off on 17 Sept 1944, are the Airborne of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 82nd Airborne Division. the American Red Cross is serving donuts on the morning of 17 Sept. 1944. This is the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR) and these airborne men will take off for the Holland operation, codenamed Market, at 13:34 hours and will be dropped on Drop Zone T near Groesbeek, Holland (Netherlands). -Robert P White collection
